Jennifer Watt was born in Dumfries and graduated at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee .
She lived and worked in Lincolnshire for 27 years before returning to her home near Thornhill in 2000.
Her sculptural work consists of pieces in stone, cement and Limited Edition work in bronze and resin.
“I search to create work which achieves an emotional response. I am moved by simple forms, clean and void of any unnecessary components, sculpture sincere to its form, material and surface.
The process of creating has been a must for me for a very long time and the materials I use vary according to the task in hand”
