Catriona has had several solo exhibitions, including Amber Arts, Edinburgh, Stanza Poetry Festival in St Andrews, The Park Gallery, Falkirk, Tweeddale Museum (twice), Peebles, and has been part of a number of group exhibitions including the RSA annual exhbition, SSA and VAS at the RSA Galleries., Gracefield Arts Centre,Leith Gallery, Edinburgh Printmakers, Cameron’s Contemporary Gallery in Brighton and the London and Bristol Art Fairs She has completed three Artist’s Residencies: at the National Library of Scotland making work in response to the collections, the resulting work was shown at the NLS exhbition space, Park Gallery, Falkirk and the Tweeddale Museum Peebles;with the Scottish Centre of Diaspora Studies at Edinburgh University, funded by a Leverhulm Artist in Residence Award. 2012-2014. The work from her residency was shown at the National Museum of Scotland and the Scottish Parliament and with Criag &Rose, Dunfermline funded by Arts and Business Creativity at Work Award.
In 2009 she was awarded a Cabn/Creative Scotland Visual Artist Award to make a short film about following the Cross Borders Drove Road on horseback. The subsequent film was screened at the first Alchemy Film Festival in 2010 and other venues such as the RSA Gallery in Edinburgh.In 2012 Catriona was given the Alchemy Film Festival’s first commission to make a film about the Hawick Common Riding. The film Kick Oan, was shown in October 2012 at the Alchemy Festival in Hawick.
Catriona is the Art Group Facilitator at Castle Craig Hospital for Addictions
