Bruce Graham is an artist living and working in the North East of Scotland and it is from the dramatic and varied Scottish scenery that he derives much of his inspiration. The coastline seascapes, with the cliffs and rock formations lending themselves to the palette knives to create layers of texture. The special quality of light of the Northern skies, the endless variety of cloud formations and atmospheric skies are also reflected in much of his work. While many landscapes are based on actual locations, some have simply evolved from his imagination.
Bruce works in oils, using both brush and palette knife to create paintings with style and depth.
Bruce is always keen to experiment with colours and textures and his style is constantly evolving. His latest work has moved into abstract creating atmosphere and movement with subtle colours and textures
