When purchasing items from the Dancing Light Gallery online shop, please consider the following:
All our items are unique, with many pieces being one-offs. Therefore, although we will endeavour to either photograph all new items which come into the gallery or use photographs from the artists, please be advised that in some cases, items may not be absolutely identical to that shown in the image.
Although we do try our hardest to represent the work reliably through the images on this site, please be aware that the colours may not be completely accurate at all times, and will vary depending upon the computer screen they are viewed on.
Any product descriptions have been given as accurately as possible and dimensions given are approximates.
Paintings are framed (unless otherwise stated) and the price listed includes this framing. If you would like to view a specific paintings frame, or if you would prefer to purchase any of the paintings unframed, please contact the gallery where a member of staff will be able help you.
We cannot be held responsible if an item sells in the gallery and on the gallery online shop simultaneously. If this instance does occur, the customer who purchases an artwork in the gallery will take priority. In the unlikely event of this occurring, we will contact the online customer to notify them of this, and will arrange any refund.
We make every attempt to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, however discrepancies may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods already ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and ask that you reconfirm your order at the correct price, whilst also giving you the option to cancel it. If we are unsuccessful in contacting you we will consider the order cancelled. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.
Collection from the gallery is always preferable. Local deliveries (within 30mile radius from the gallery) are free. Please phone the gallery for advice and costing for all other deliveries.
Delivery will be within 5 working days unless otherwise requested and quoted for. All delivery costs will include insurance. Multiple Items will be posted together and the cost will be adjusted accordingly. Please contact the gallery for clarification and adjusted cost.
If your delivery address is not within the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country; Dancing Light Gallery advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information.
You should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
By ordering a product online you accept these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly before ordering products in case there are any changes.
Your Undertakings and Warranties
You warrant that the information given in your order is complete and accurate.
Acknowledgement of Order
When you have completed your order, you will be sent an email confirmation. It will state what the products are on order and post & package charges, together with delivery and invoice details. If for any reason your order cannot be processed, the gallery will contact you to explain the nature of the difficulty.
Using the Website to Make a Purchase
We currently use Sage Pay for taking online credit and debit card payments. Once the purchase has been made, the customer will receive an email from Sage Pay to confirm this. Any refunds will be made through Sage Pay.
Alternative Payment Methods
We are happy to take any payments with credit cards over the phone if the customer wishes. We take all major credit cards apart from American Express and Amex.

We currently do not accept Dancing Light Gallery Gift Vouchers through the online shop. Any vouchers may be redeemed for goods at the Dancing light Gallery or over the phone. Vouchers may, on payment of the difference, be exchanged on a purchase of a higher value. Gift vouchers may not be exchanged for cash. Any balance left on a gift voucher will be left on the gift voucher.
Gift Vouchers must be redeemed from the gallery within a 6 month period from when purchased.
If the voucher code has already been used the voucher will be void. If your gift vouchers become accidentally damaged, please contact the gallery.
Damaged Goods, Incorrect Deliveries or No Longer Wanted Goods
Any damaged or incorrect items that need to be returned to us must be authorised in advance by us at the gallery. We need to be notified of any returns within 7 days following receipt of the item, stating the nature of the damage/defect and quoting the invoice no.; failure to notify us will deem you to have
accepted the goods.
Damaged or incorrect deliveries must be returned to us within 14 days of receipt of items. The gallery will only refund the postage & packaging costs of returned goods if they were deemed faulty or damaged on delivery.
If the work has been damaged during transit, a claim will be made with the relevant courier against the insurance paid for when shipping the work. Please check all items upon delivery, and report any damage to us immediately.
Any goods bought and received from Dancing Light Gallery but no longer wanted can be returned, in the same perfect condition that it was bought in, within 7 days following the date of purchase. We cannot refund after the 7 working days under any circumstances.
